Hello everyone, and welcome to my page. I think most observers can figure out my focus pretty quickly here. I'm not much of an artist myself, nor am I very into providing a journal or other entertaining tidbits of my life. You'll notice my favorites are full of portraits!

Yep, it's what I love in art, and I'm proud to be able to display which works I find the most meaningful. At the beginning of this project I was embarrassed for favorit-ing other artists works without any of my own, but since then I've come to the realization that it's alright. In fact, I hope someday this might even become a hub where portrait artists and appreciators can find personalities which meet their style.

My tastes are my own. I can't claim any sort of academic or professional expertise in judging the value of one photo against another. If I like what you have, I will add it to my favorites, for whatever reason. I think, however, that you will notice trends in my tastes. I also hope that over time my perception will change and I will view things in a new light. This will hopefully allow me to update the profile that I collect here.

As a small aside, please don't take any offense if I remove your photo from my favorites in the future. My attachment is mostly emotionally based, and experience has taught me that emotions are fleeting things.


Maybe once I get more accustomed to the technicalities of the deviant-art page, I will post up a better description of myself. Until then, I'm just going to focus on getting these words on my page... oh as well as the little profile note below the entry (listening, reading, watching, etc) - it should be useful to describe myself a little bit.
